AN ACT concerning:
Off-duty Uniformed Police Officers and Deputy Sheriffs - Employment -
Permits
FOR the purpose of requiring a person to receive a permit prior to employing off-duty
police officers and deputy sheriffs under certain circumstances; establishing
certain permit requirements; requiring the Chief of Police to examine the
applications; authorizing the Chief to conduct certain investigations;
authorizing the Police Department to issue and renew permits and deny and
revoke permits under certain circumstances; establishing the scope of the
permit; authorizing the Department to adopt certain regulations; establishing
certain penalties; repealing certain provisions relating to certain permits; and
generally relating to permits for the employment of off-duty police officers and
deputy sheriffs.
