Resolution No. 286
WHEREAS, the City of Crisfield has promulgated its Charter, together with its
municipal code, in a volume published by General Code Publishers Corporation, of
New York; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Crisfield has determined it is in the best interest of its
citizens to amend § C7-9 of its Charter in order to make it clear employee benefit
programs need not be set by ordinance.
[Section C7-9 of Article VII of the Charter of the City of Crisfield, Somerset
County, as found in the Public Local Laws of Maryland - Compilation of Municipal
Charters (1990 Replacement Edition and 1999 Supplement), repealed and reenacted,
with amendments.
Effective Date July 1, 1999]

WHEREAS, the City of Crisfield has promulgated its Charter, together with its
municipal code, in a volume published by General Code Publishers Corporation, of
New York; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Crisfield has determined it is in the best interest of its
citizens to amend § C2-10 of its Charter in order to make it clear the City shall be
required only to publish the fair summary and not the entire text of proposed
ordinances.
