WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of the Town of Capitol Heights, duly elected
officials of a body politic and corporate of the State of Maryland, desire to repeal the
1990 Charter of the Town of Capitol Heights, Maryland and replace it with the 1997
Revised Charter of the Town of Capitol Heights, Maryland.
