(ii) If the owner is a business firm, association, or corporation, its
business address in this State or the name and address of a resident agent in this
State AND ITS FEDERAL IDENTIFICATION NUMBER FEDERAL IDENTIFICATION
NUMBER AND:
1. ITS BUSINESS ADDRESS IN THIS STATE; OR
2. THE NAME AND ADDRESS OF ITS RESIDENT AGENT IN
THIS STATE;
(iii) If the owner is a partnership or joint venture, the name of each
partner or joint venturer;
(iv) If the owner is an unincorporated association, joint stock
company, or other group described in § 6-406 of the Courts Article, the name and
address of a resident agent on whom service may be made in any law suit arising out
of the ownership, maintenance, or use of the vehicle; and
(v) If the owner is a trustee, the address of the trust in this State
and the name and address of a person in this State on whom service may be made in
any law suit arising out of the ownership, maintenance, or use of the vehicle;
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect October 1, 2000.

AN ACT concerning
Vehicle Law - Vehicle Registration—Gratis Transfer Transfers - Continued
Use of Registration Plates
FOR the purpose of allowing certain transferees of the title or interest in a motor
vehicle to continue to use the same registration plates on the vehicle after the
transfer; and generally relating to the registration of vehicles and use of
registration plates.
