TITLE 5. Election Districts
[5-1.] 5-101. Number; boundaries.
Carroll County is divided into fourteen election districts, according to their
present bounds and limits.

TITLE 6. LICENSES
[7-1.] 6-101. Hucksters and peddlers.
(a) License; exceptions. No huckster, hawker or peddler shall sell or offer for
sale any fruits or vegetables in Carroll County until [he] THE HUCKSTER, HAWKER
OR PEDDLER shall have first taken out a license for that purpose in accordance with
the provisions of this section; provided, however, that this section shall not apply to
the farmers or growers selling their own fruits or vegetables.
(b) Fee; receipts. For every such license, the Clerk of the Circuit Court of
Carroll County shall be paid fifteen dollars[, ($15.00)] per annum. The receipts from
[said] THE licenses shall be paid to the County Treasurer for the use of [said] THE
county. Any person violating the provisions of this section shall, upon conviction, be
fined not less than twenty-five dollars [($25.00)] nor more than one hundred dollars
[($100.00)], to be recovered as other fines are recovered.
[7-2.] 6-102. Pinball Machines.
(a) (1) In this section, "Coin operated game" means an amusement device
that is operated or activated by coins or tokens.
(2) "Coin operated game" includes:
(i) a bowling machine;
(ii) an electronic game;
(iii) a pinball machine;
(iv) a video game; or
(v) other similar device.
(3) "Coin operated game" does not include:
(i) a machine that pays out coins or tokens; or
(ii) a bona fide vending machine that does not include amusement
features.
(b) After a public hearing, the Board of County Commissioners may adopt
ordinances or regulations concerning:
(1) coin operated game licensing;
