(b) A person may engage in the business of providing propane gas services if:
(1) the person is the holder of a propane gas fitter certificate; or
(2) the person:
(i) designates a holder of a propane gas fitter certificate who
actively directs, controls, and is responsible for all propane gas services; and
(ii) otherwise provides the propane gas services in accordance with
this title.
(C) A PERSON MAY ENGAGE IN THE BUSINESS OF PROVIDING NATURAL GAS
SERVICES IF;
(1) THE PERSON IS THE HOLDER OF A MASTER NATURAL GAS FITTERS
LICENSE; OR
(2) THE PERSON:
(I) DESIGNATES A HOLDER OF A MASTER NATURAL GAS FITTERS
LICENSE WHO ACTIVELY DIRECTS, CONTROLS, AND IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL
NATURAL GAS SERVICES; AND
(II) OTHERWISE PROVIDES NATURAL GAS SERVICES IN
ACCORDANCE WITH THIS TITLE.
12-403.
(a) (1) Before a master plumber or holder of a limited master plumber
license may provide plumbing services through a person who engages in the business
of providing plumbing services under this subtitle, [or] a holder of a propane gas
fitter certificate may provide propane gas services through a person who engages in
the business of providing propane gas services under this subtitle, OR A MASTER
PLUMBER OR A HOLDER OF A MASTER NATURAL GAS FITTERS LICENSE MAY
PROVIDE NATURAL GAS SERVICES THROUGH A PERSON WHO ENGAGES IN THE
BUSINESS OF PROVIDING NATURAL GAS SERVICES UNDER THIS SUBTITLE, the
master plumber, holder of a limited master plumber license [or], holder of a propane
gas fitter certificate, OR HOLDER OF A MASTER NATURAL GAS FITTERS LICENSE shall
submit to the Board a notice stating the intent of the master plumber, holder of a
limited master plumber license, [or] holder of a propane gas fitter CERTIFICATE, OR
HOLDER OF A MASTER NATURAL GAS FITTERS LICENSE to do so.
(2) The notice shall include:
(i) the name of the master plumber, holder of a limited master
plumber license, [or] holder of a propane gas fitter certificate, OR HOLDER OF A
MASTER NATURAL GAS FITTERS LICENSE submitting the notice;
(ii) a statement that the named individual has been designated as
the master plumber, holder of a limited master plumber license, [or] holder of a
propane gas fitter certificate, OR HOLDER OF A MASTER NATURAL GAS FITTERS
LICENSE of the person;
