(e) The Administration shall provide payment to the training and employment
providers to cover the costs and wages of the participants.;
(f) At the conclusion of the pilot program, the Administration shall submit a
report to the General Assembly, in accordance with § 2-1246 of the State Government
Article, containing information about the pilot program, including:
(1) The number of participants and the training or employment to which
each participant was assigned;
(2) The current employment and training status of the participants;
(3) Any criminal activity of the participants; and
(4) Involvement of participants in outpatient drug and alcohol
treatment.; and
(g) Funding for this pilot program shall be included in the Administration's
annual budget.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2000. It shall remain effective for a period of 3 years and, at the end of
September 30, 2003, with no further action required by the General Assembly, this
Act shall be abrogated and of no further force and effect.

AN ACT concerning
Mortality Review Committee - Deaths of Individuals with Developmental
Disabilities
FOR the purpose of establishing a Mortality-Review Committee in the Department of
Health and Mental Hygiene to evaluate causes or factors contributing to deaths
of individuals with developmental disabilities who are in facilities or programs
operated or licensed by the Developmental Disability Disabilities
Administration; establishing the membership and duties of the Committee;
requiring the Committee to submit an annual report for public distribution;
requiring confidentiality for certain information submitted to the Committee;
defining a term; establishing a certain medical review committee; and generally
relating to a Mortality Review Committee.

Section 5-801 through 5-810 to be under the new subtitle " Subtitle 8. Mortality
Review Committee"
