(4) PREVENT any illegal act, conduct, business, or use in or about [such

2.12. Historic and landmark zoning and preservation.
(A) [For the purpose of preserving] TO PRESERVE structures and landmarks of

the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore City [have the power generally to] MAY
enact laws for historic and landmark zoning and preservation.
(B) This section does not restrict any charter POWER or other power of [the

2.13. SCOPE.
(A) SECTIONS 3.01 THROUGH 8.15 OF THIS ARTICLE DO NOT APPLY IN
BALTIMORE CITY.
(B) (1) SECTIONS 2.01 THROUGH 2.11 OF THIS ARTICLE AND ALL LAWS AND
ORDINANCES PASSED UNDER THOSE SECTIONS ARE NOT AFFECTED BY THE
REMAINING PROVISIONS OF THIS ARTICLE.
(2) IN BALTIMORE CITY, THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ARTICLE OTHER
THAN §§ 2.01 THROUGH 2.11 OF THIS ARTICLE ARE INTENDED TO SUPPLEMENT §§ 2.01
THROUGH 2.11 OF THIS ARTICLE.
