General Fund Appropriation, provided
that the Judiciary submit a report
by December 1, 2000 to the budget
committees, Senate Judicial
Proceedings Committee, and the
House Judiciary Committee which
quantitatively and qualitatively
evaluates the utilization of the
full-time cross-designated judge
and expanded use of the
courtroom at the Central Booking
and Intake Facility (CBIF). The
report should specifically present
monthly case dockets, total
number of cases and defendants
processed, and the disposition of
each case by case category
processed at the CBIF. The report
should also present
recommendations where
appropriate regarding expedited
case processing and expanded use
of the CBIF courtroom.
