Funds are appropriated in the
Developmental Disabilities
Administration Community Services
budget to pay for services provided by this
program. Authorization is hereby granted
to use these receipts as special funds for
operating expenses in this program.

MM01.02 Community Services
General Fund Appropriation, provided that
at least $1,500,000 $838,750 of this
appropriation be used to move clients into
community placements...............................
Further provided that the agency require
that providers will increase the salaries of
direct service workers as a condition of
receiving additional funds for salary
enhancements.
Further provided that it is the intent of the
General Assembly that the Governor
provide the department a deficiency
appropriation in fiscal 2002, in an amount
up to $375,000 $187,500, if the
deinstitutionalization initiative's
expenses exceed the appropriation of
$1,125,000 $1,312,500.
Special Fund Appropriation, provided that
the State Treasurer submit a plan by
August 1. 2000. that addresses the options
for increasing the return on investment
for the Community Services Trust Fund.
Federal Fund Appropriation, provided
that at least $473,750 of this
appropriation be used to move clients
