member of the Board to "issue subpoenas" to compel the attendance of
witnesses and the production of documents is added to state expressly that
which was only implied in the last sentence of former Art. 41, § 4-701(c),
which authorized the Board to petition a circuit court to enforce a
subpoena, as set forth in subsection (b) of this section.

In subsection (a)(2)(ii) of this section, the word "documents" is substituted
for the former reference to "books and papers" for brevity.

In subsection (b) of this section, the reference to a "circuit court" is
substituted for the former reference to "any court having jurisdiction"
because only the circuit courts have the jurisdiction to receive petitions for
an order of contempt under this section.

"Person" § 1-101
