"CRIME OF VIOLENCE" HAS THE MEANING STATED IN ARTICLE 27, § 643B OF THE
CODE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language added to avoid repetition
 of the phrase "a crime of violence as defined in Article 27, § 643B of the

Code".

(D) DIRECTOR

"DIRECTOR" MEANS THE DIRECTOR OF THE DIVISION OR THE DIRECTOR'S
DESIGNEE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection formerly was Art. 41, § 4-602A(a)(3).

The only changes are in style.
Defined term: "Division" § 6-101
(E) DIVISION.

"DIVISION" MEANS THE DIVISION OF PAROLE AND PROBATION.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection formerly was Art. 41, § 4-602A(a)(4).
No changes are made.

(F) MANDATORY SUPERVISION.

"MANDATORY SUPERVISION" HAS THE MEANING STATED IN § 7-101 OF THIS
ARTICLE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language derived without
substantive change from former Art. 41, § 4-612(a)(1), as it related to the
definition of "mandatory supervision".

The definition of the term "mandatory supervision" in former Art. 41, §
4-612(a)(1) was applicable only to former Art. 41, § 4-612, which is revised
in Title 7, Subtitle 5 of this article. However, the. term "mandatory
supervision" was also used in former Art. 41, §§ 4-601(b)(2) and 4-602A(d),
which are revised, respectively, in §§ 6-104(a)(2) and 6-108(c) of this
subtitle. In this revision, the definition of "mandatory supervision" in
former Art. 41, § 4-612(a)(l) is made applicable to this subtitle. No
substantive change is intended.

(G) OFFENDER

"OFFENDER" MEANS AN INDIVIDUAL ON PAROLE OR UNDER MANDATORY
SUPERVISION.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection formerly was Art. 41, § 4-602A(a)(5).

The former reference to an individual "who has a special condition of home
detention" is deleted as unnecessary in light of the contexts in which this
term is used throughout this title.
