THE SECRETARY MAY AUTHORIZE THE HOUSING IN THE BALTIMORE CITY
DETENTION CENTER OF ANY INMATE HELD IN CUSTODY UNDER ANY UNIT IN THE
DEPARTMENT.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived without substantive
change from former Art. 41, § 4-1407.

In subsections (b) and (c) of this section, the references to "individuals" and
"individual", respectively, are substituted for the former reference to a
"person" to reflect the fact that other entities included in the defined term
"person" cannot be incarcerated. See § 1-101 of this article for the
definition of "person".

(B) TENURE.

THE WARDEN SERVES AT THE PLEASURE OF THE COMMISSIONER

(C) DUTIES.

SUBJECT TO THE AUTHORITY OF THE COMMISSIONER AND THE SECRETARY,
THE WARDEN IS IN CHARGE OF THE BALTIMORE CITY DETENTION CENTER
