Historic Preservation Ordinance Amendment No. 13-111

AN AMENDMENT to the Montgomery County Historic Preservation Ordinance to:

(1) allow staff review of an application for certain types of historic area work
permits;

(2) make technical and stylistic changes; and

(3) generally amend the application and review procedures for an historic area
work permit.

By amending the following section of the Montgomery County Historic
Preservation Ordinance, Chapter 24A of the Montgomery County Code:

Section 24A-7 Historic Area Work Permits - Application procedures;

Appeals.

AN ACT concerning

Volunteer Firefighter Preference

For the purpose of repealing the provisions for a volunteer firefighter preference for
applicants for a position as a full-time career firefighter, emergency medical
technician, or paramedic and providing for salary rate upon appointment above
the entry level for such positions for former volunteer service.
