(1) change the name of the Office of Community Use of Educational Facilities
and Services to the Office of Community Use of Public Facilities;

(2) expand the functions of the Office of Community Use of Public Facilities
and the duties of the Director of Community Use of Public Facilities;

(3) generally amend County law regarding the community use of educational
and other public facilities.

AN ACT to:

(1) permit certain part-time and temporary employees who become full-time
employees to participate in the Retirement Savings Plan through election or transfer;

(2) permit certain part-time employees to participate in the Retirement
Savings Plan through election or transfer;

(3) provide that a part-time employee who elects [[on or after June 30, 1998]]
to participate in the integrated plan must remain a member unless the employee
transfers to the Retirement Savings Plan;

(4) allow full-time employees who become part-time employees [[on or after
June 30, 1998,]] to withdraw from active participation in the Employees' Retirement
System or the Retirement Savings Plan;
