AN ACT concerning

Baltimore County Code, 1998 - First Enactment

FOR the purpose of enacting the Baltimore County Code, 1998 and adding two
articles to the Baltimore County Code, to be designated and known as "Article 1
- In General" and "Article 2 - Legislative Branch", to revise, restate, and
recodify the laws of the County relating and pertaining to general provisions
regarding the Code including definitions and rules of construction, the county
council, the county auditor, and the spending affordability committee; defining
certain terms; providing for the construction and application of this Act;
providing for the continuity of terms of certain officials, the status of certain
transactions and employees, rights, titles, and interests, licenses, registrations,
certifications, and permits; providing for a contingent effective date of this Act;
and generally relating to the laws of the County.
