Annexation Resolution 98-1

RESOLUTION of the Mayor and Commissioners of the Town of Rising Sun,
adopted pursuant, to the authority of Article XIE of the Constitution of Maryland and
Section 19 of Article 23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition - 1981
Replacement Volume), for the enlargement of the corporate boundaries of said Town
by the annexation of certain land contiguous to and adjoining the existing corporate
area. (24.5474 acres of land, more or less - 2 parcels)

[Pursuant to Sections C-l and C-3 of the Charter of the Town of Rising Sun,
Cecil County, as found in the Public Local Laws of Maryland - Compilation of
Municipal Charters (1990 Replacement Edition and 1998 Supplement).

Charter Amendment to Change Corporate Name

At a regular meeting on May 4, 1998, the Mayor and Council of the Town of Riverdale
passed Res. 98-CR-01, to amend the Riverdale Charter to change the corporate name
to Town of Riverdale PARK.

[Sections 101, 102, 501, and 901 to be under the new town name "Riverdale
Park" of the Charter of the Town of Riverdale, Prince George's County, as found in the
Public Local Laws of Maryland - Compilation of Municipal Charters (1990
Replacement Edition and 1998 Supplement), repealed and reenacted, with
amendments.
