A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF GAITHERSBURG,
MARYLAND, TO AMEND SECTION 36 OF THE CITY CHARTER SO AS TO

UPDATE THE TITLE OF THE SECTION TO READ "USE OF GENDER
SPECIFIC TERMS" AND FURTHER TO DELETE OUTDATED LANGUAGE

WITH RESPECT TO RIGHTS TO REGISTER, VOTE AND HOLD CITY OFFICE

[Section 36 and the heading "Section 36. Rights of women in registration, voting,
and holding office" of the Charter of the City of Gaithersburg, Montgomery County, as
found in the Public Local Laws of Maryland - Compilation of Municipal Charters
(1990 Replacement Edition and 1998 Supplement), repealed and reenacted, with
amendments.

MARYLAND, TO AMEND SECTION 37 OF THE CITY CHARTER SO AS TO
INCREASE THE ABILITY OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO PROVIDE FOR
MATTERS REGARDING THE FUNCTION OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

OF ELECTIONS

[Section 37 and the heading "Section 37. Council may provide for other matters
regarding elections voting, etc." of the Charter of the City of Gaithersburg,
Montgomery County, as found in the Public Local Laws of Maryland - Compilation of
Municipal Charters (1990 Replacement Edition and 1998 Supplement), repealed and
reenacted, with amendments.
