A RESOLUTION TO AMEND ARTICLE III, SECTION 1, OF THE CHARTER OF
THE TOWN OF EMMITSBURG, PERTAINING TO THE TERM OF OFFICE OF
THE MAYOR.

SECTION I: BE IT RESOLVED, ENACTED AND ORDAINED, by the Board of
Commissioners of the Town of Emmitsburg, pursuant to the authority granted to
them by Article XIE of the Constitution of Maryland and Article 23A of the Maryland
Code, that Article III, Section 1, of the Charter of the Town of Emmitsburg be
amended by deleting therefrom those provisions contained in brackets and by adding
thereto those provisions typed in capitals.
