CREDIT AGAINST THE COUNTY OR MUNICIPAL CORPORATION PROPERTY TAX
IMPOSED ON PROPERTY THAT IS USED ATHLETIC FIELDS THAT ARE USED
EXCLUSIVELY FOR AMATEUR SPORTS.

(B) THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF BALTIMORE CITY OR THE GOVERNING
BODY OF A COUNTY OR OF A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION MAY PROVIDE, BY LAW, FOR:

(1) THE AMOUNT AND DURATION OF THE TAX CREDIT UNDER THIS
SECTION; AND

(2) ANY OTHER PROVISION NECESSARY TO CARRY OUT THE CREDIT
UNDER THIS SECTION.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1999.

AN ACT concerning

Orphans' Court - Appeals - Stay of Proceedings

FOR the purpose of providing that an appeal from an orphans' court or a circuit court
stays all proceedings in the orphans' court concerning the issue appealed;
repealing a provision of law that provides that a certain appeal from an orphans'
court to the Court of Special Appeals does not stay any proceedings in the
orphans' court under certain circumstances; providing for the application of this
Act; and generally relating to stay of the orphans' court proceedings in case of
appeals.
