[(11)] (12) order the respondent to surrender to law enforcement
authorities any firearm in the respondent's possession for the duration of the
protective order; or
[(12)] (13) order the respondent to pay filing fees and costs of a
proceeding under this subtitle.
SECTION 2. 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall apply
only to cases in which the petition for relief from abuse described in § 4-504 of the
Family Law Article is filed on or after the effective date of this Act.
SECTION 3. 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect October 1, 1999.

AN ACT concerning
Property Tax - Credit for Property-Used Athletic Fields Used Exclusively for
Amateur Sports
FOR the purpose of authorizing the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore City or the
governing body of a county or of a municipal corporation to grant, by law, a tax
credit against the county or municipal corporation property tax imposed on
property that is used athletic fields that are used exclusively for amateur sports;
and authorizing the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore City or the governing
body of a county or of a municipal corporation to provide, by law, for the amount
and duration of the tax credit and any other provision necessary to carry out the
credit.
