2. MARYLAND STADIUM AUTHORITY

DA03.60 Hippodrome Performing Arts Center -
Capita] Appropriation
To add an appropriation on page 9 of the
printed bill (first reading file bill), to
provide pay-as-you-go operating funds
for the following capital project.
Expenditure of these funds will be made
in accordance with State Finance and
Procurement Article Sections 3-601
through 3-607 and 7-305.

Hippodrome Performing Arts Center

Provide funds to the Maryland Stadium
Authority to complete detailed plans for
the renovation and construction of the
Hippodrome Performing Arts Center
which includes the Hippodrome Theater
and adjacent properties. The Authority
is permitted to enter into contracts,
engage consultants, make
recommendations, and take other
actions related to this purpose. The
Stadium Authority shall work in
conjunction with the Baltimore Center
for the Performing Arts in developing
this project.
