RA04.01 Local Management Board Fund

General Fund Appropriation, provided that
any funding for Youth Service Bureaus be
distributed in accordance with Article
83C, § 2-122(d)(4), provided that
$1,000,000 of this appropriation may not
be expended until a report concerning the
implementation of the Subcabinet's
proposed Healthy Families Initiative and
the interaction of that initiative with other
established home visiting programs has
been submitted to the budget committees
for review and comment or 45 days has
elapsed from its receipt.

Further provided that it is the intent of the
General Assembly that, where the local
matching funds for an eligible youth
service bureau are provided by the
governing body of a municipal corporation
or other local government in accordance
with the provisions of Article 83C, §
2-122(d)(4) of the Code, disbursements for
the support of the eligible youth service
bureau shall be paid, at the option of the
governing body of the municipal
corporation or other local government,
directly to the private sponsor of the
eligible youth service bureau or to the
governing body of the municipal
corporation or other local government, and
not to the local management board...........
