AN ACT authorizing, under certain circumstances, an appointing authority in County
government to fill a vacancy with an individual who was laid off from County
employment and who previously served in a higher class as the current vacancy;
authorizing, under certain circumstances, an appointing authority to transfer
certain employees within a department, from one position to another position in
a different class in the same or lower grade; authorizing appointing authorities,
under certain circumstances, to transfer an employee from a position in one
department to a position in another department in a different class in the same
or lower grade; and generally relating to reemployment and transfer of County
employees.

AN ACT repealing provisions of law concerning shelters for certain animals-; AND
removal of animal carcasses, and toilet facilities in gasoline service stations;
altering the time period for correction of a nuisance under the Health Code;
clarifying that a violation of certain regulations is a violation of the Health Code;
and making conforming and stylistic changes.
