AN ORDINANCE concerning:

Zoning - Suburban Community Centers

FOR the purpose of creating a pilot program for a community growth corridor along
which a suburban community center may be established as a special exception
in certain zoning districts under certain terms and conditions; defining certain
terms; authorizing the Director of Planning and Code Enforcement, with the
approval of the County Council by ordinance, to establish regulations pertaining
to the criteria and standards for the review of the suburban community center,
and for the establishment of a planning advisory committee to perform certain
functions relating to the suburban community center; providing for master
development standards to govern the use, development, and design of land and
structures within a suburban community center; providing certain special
exception criteria for a suburban community center and specifying the effect of
the granting of the special exception; specifying conditions and procedures
under which amendments, variations, modifications, and additions may be
made to the suburban community center and plans and standards for the center;
providing that certain variances may not be granted for a suburban community
center; adding additional site plan criteria for the suburban community center;
providing for the donation to Anne Arundel County of certain development
rights easements as a condition of approval for the suburban community center;

amending the General Development Plan Addendum----1985; providing for the

termination of this Ordinance; and generally relating to a suburban community
center.

and (19D); 6-401 through 6-414, to be under the new title, "Title 6.
