MUNICIPAL CHARTERS

RESOLUTION 96-4

RESOLUTION of the Council of Port Deposit, adopted pursuant to the
authority, of Article XI-E of the Constitution of Maryland and Section 13 of Article
23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1975 Edition), 1987 Replacement Volume,
1989 Cumulative Supplement, Title "Corporations - Municipal" to amend the Charter
of the Town of Port Deposit by as follows:

SECTION 1. BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of Port Deposit that Section 710
of Article VII of the Charter of the Town of Port Deposit entitled FINANCE is hereby
deleted and in place thereof the following is enacted:

[Section(s) 710 of the Charter of the Town of Port Deposit, Cecil County, as found
in the Public Local Laws of Maryland - Compilation of Municipal Charters (1990
Replacement Edition and 1996 Supplement), repealed and reenacted, with
amendments.

Effective Date April 24, 1996]

(To amend Section 429 of Ridgely Charter
by increasing the number of police officers allowed)

amendments.
