RESOLUTION 1996-11

AMENDMENT TO CHARTER, SECTIONS C3-4, C3-11, C3-12, C3-13, C6-9,
C7-1, C7-2, C7-3, C7-4, C7-5, C7-14, C7-16, C7-23, C8-5, C12-2, C15-1 AND

C15-2

BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Berlin

1.       That Sections C3-4, C3-11, C3-12, C3-13, C6-9, C7-5, C7-14,
C7-16, C7-23, C8-5, C12-2, C15-1 AND C15-2 of the Charter of the Town of Berlin
be amended by changing the title, clerk-treasurer, as used in each section to
Administrative Director; and

2.       That Sections C7-1, C7-2 and C7-3 of the Charter of the Town of
Berlin be deleted; and

3.       That Section C7-4 of the Charter of the Town of Berlin be amended to
read as follows:

[Various Section(s) of the Charter of the Town of Berlin, Worcester County, as
found in the Public Local Laws of Maryland - Compilation of Municipal Charters
(1990 Replacement Edition and 1996 Supplement), repealed and reenacted, with
amendments, repealed.

AMENDMENT TO CHARTER, SECTION C7-11. CHECKS

BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Berlin

1. That Section C7-11. Checks of the Charter of the Town of Berlin be
amended to read as follows:

[Section(s) C7-11 of the Charter of the Town of Berlin, Worcester County, as
found in the Public Local Laws of Maryland - Compilation of Municipal Charters
(1990 Replacement Edition and 1996 Supplement), repealed and reenacted, with
amendments.

Effective Date December 10, 1996]

BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Berlin

1. That Section C3-4, Meetings, of the Charter of the Town of Berlin be
