36G.

(a) (3) (i) "Firearm" means a [pistol or revolver] HANDGUN, rifle, shotgun,
short-barreled rifle, short-barreled shotgun, or any other firearm, whether loaded or
unloaded.

(ii) "Firearm" does not include antique firearms, as defined in § 36F of

this article.

(4) "HANDGUN" HAS THE MEANING STATED IN § 441 OF THIS ARTICLE.
[(4)] (5) "Law enforcement officer" means:

(i) A duly appointed member of a police force or other agency of the
United States, the State, a county, municipality, or other political subdivision, who is
responsible for the prevention and detection of crime and the enforcement of the laws of
the United States, the State, a county, municipality, or other political subdivision;

(ii) A park police officer duly appointed by the Maryland-National
Capital Park and Planning Commission;

(iii) A duly appointed member of the University of Maryland police

force; and

(iv) Any military or militia personnel directed by constituted authority
to keep law and order.

[(5) "Pistol or revolver" has the same meaning as in § 441 of this article.]

36J.

(b) (4) The Board shall semiannually:

(ii) Send a copy of the handgun roster to all [pistol and revolver]
REGULATED FIREARM dealers that are licensed under § 443 of this article.
