(e) Each of the judges of the Court for Baltimore County shall receive an annual
compensation of [$27,000] $33,000 $30,000. The Chief Judge shall receive an additional
$2,000 annually.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, pursuant to Article III,
Section 35 of the Constitution of Maryland, this Act may not be construed to extend or
apply to the salary or compensation of the judges of the Orphans' Court for Baltimore
County in office on the effective date of this Act, but the provisions of this Act concerning
the salary or compensation of the judges of the Orphans' Court for Baltimore County
shall take effect at the beginning of the next following term of office.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1997.

AN ACT concerning

Anne Arundel County - Tipton Airport Authority

FOR the purpose of authorizing the governing body of Anne Arundel County to establish
the Tipton Airport Authority as a public corporation to acquire, equip, maintain,
and operate Tipton Airport at Fort George G. Meade in Anne Arundel County;
providing for the powers, rights, and obligations of the Authority, subject to certain
requirements; prohibiting the Authority from extending a runway to certain lengths
under certain circumstances; authorizing the Authority to issue negotiable taxable
and tax exempt revenue bonds, revenue refunding bonds, notes, and other evidences
of indebtedness; and generally relating to the establishment of the Tipton Airport
Authority as a public corporation.
