1997 LAWS OF MARYLAND

(b) An act, ordinance, or resolution adopted or passed by the county
commissioners of any county under the authority of § 3 of this article may not become
effective until a copy thereof has been filed with the clerk of the court of the county, and
a fair summary of the act, ordinance, or resolution has been published, after adoption or
passage, in at least one newspaper of general circulation in the county. Any act,
ordinance, or resolution filed as herein required, shall be admissible as evidence in any
court proceeding upon certification by the said clerk of the court.

(c) The Clerk of the Circuit Court of Dorchester County shall record and index
ail ordinances, resolutions, and regulations adopted by the Board of County
Commissioners of Dorchester County and there shall be no charge to the County for the
recording and indexing thereof.

[(d) The Clerk of the Circuit Court of Worcester County shall record and index all
ordinances, resolutions, and regulations adopted by the Board of County Commissioners
of Worcester County, and there shall be no charge to the County for the recording and
indexing thereof.]

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1997.

AN ACT concerning

Baltimore County - Property Tax Credits - Harewood Park Community League, Inc.

FOR the purpose of authorizing the governing body of Baltimore County to grant, by law,
a property tax credit against the county property tax imposed on real property that
is owned by the Harewood Park Community League, Inc.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

(b) The governing body of Baltimore County may grant, by law, a property tax
credit under this section against the county property tax imposed on:
