WA01.07 Local Aid - Law Enforcement Grants
General Fund Appropriation, provided that
$1 million, made for the purpose of
expanding the Baltimore City Foot Patrol
Program beyond the $6.1 million expended
in Fiscal Year 1995, be used to increase the
number of foot patrol officers for that
purpose only. Further provided that $1
million may not be expended until:

(1)      the budget committees have received a
report from the Baltimore City Police
Department on how a minimum of $7.1
million will be expended and how many
additional foot patrol officers will be
supported by the $1 million for the
Baltimore City Foot Patrol Program; and

(2)      the budget committees have reviewed
and commented on the report or 45 days
have elapsed from the date the report is
received by the budget committees..............
