1996 LAWS OF MARYLAND

Maryland School for the Deaf receive
adequate funding. The Maryland School for
the Deaf in conjunction with the
Administration The Maryland State
Department of Education and the
Administration in consultation with the
Maryland School for the Deaf is requested to
develop a funding formula proposal that
provides for legitimate budget increases at a
rate comparable to other mandated primary
and secondary education programs, such as
the current expense aid formula. A report on
the development of a formula funding
proposal should be submitted to the General
Assembly committees by October 1, 1996.
