AN [[EMERGENCY]] ACT TO:

(1)     define terms;

(2)     provide that certain members who have reached their normal retirement date
are eligible for non-service connected disability benefits;

(3)     establish new procedures for certain applications for disability retirement; and

(4)     generally amend the Employees' Retirement System law regarding disability
benefits.

(1)     close the County new home warranty plan to enrollment of new homes after a
certain date;

(2)     repeal the requirement for a third-party warranty for certain new homes;

repeal obsolete provisions; and

[[(3)]] (4) generally amend the law providing for new home warranty and builder
licensing.
