COUNTY LOCAL LAWS
the restoration or rehabilitation of historic properties; establishing a Howard County real
property tax credit for increased assessed value due to the restoration or rehabilitation of
historic properties; providing for the amount and duration of each credit; establishing
procedures for implementation of each credit; requiring the Historic District Commission
to adopt rules to implement each credit; authorizing the Commission to determine
eligibility and to approve an application for a credit; providing for the lapse of a certain
credit in the event of certain damage to the property; and generally relating to Howard
County real property tax credits for restoration and rehabilitation of historic properties.
[Amending Section 16.606 and Adding Sections 20.117 and 20.118 of the Howard County
Code.

zones under certain circumstances; authorizing the Department of Public Works to
establish a time limit on parking on certain highways or parking facilities; authorizing the
County Executive to designate certain individuals to enforce the County's parking laws;
making conforming and stylistic changes; and generally relating to parking and
enforcement of the parking laws in the County.
[Repealing Sections 21.710 arid 21.714, Adding Sections 21.406 and 21.407, and
Amending Sections 21.500, 21.501, 21.911, and 21.919 of the Howard County Code.
