INVEST VILLAGE FUNDS IN INVESTMENTS AUTHORIZED FOR MUNICIPALITIES BY
STATE LAW.

[Section 77-4 of the Charter of the Town of Chevy Chase Village, Montgomery
County, as found in the Public Local Laws of Maryland - Compilation of Municipal
Charters (1990 Replacement Edition and 1995 Supplement), repealed and reenacted,
with amendments.

A CHARTER AMENDMENT TO AMEND THE REQUIREMENTS FOR
COUNTERSIGNATURES IN CONNECTION WITH THE TRANSFER OR EXPENDITURE OF
VILLAGE FUNDS SO AS TO CREATE THE POSITION OF ASSISTANT TREASURER AND
TO AUTHORIZE THE TRANSFER OR EXPENDITURE OF VILLAGE FUNDS UPON THE
AUTHORIZATION OF ANY TWO OF THE FOLLOWING OFFICERS: CHAIRMAN,
VICE-CHAIRMAN, TREASURER AND ASSISTANT TREASURER.
