S.B. 286
VETOES
This bill alters the Ellis Island of Baltimore Museum Loan of 1994 by extending the
deadline for the Ellis Island of Baltimore Foundation, Incorporated to provide matching
funds totaling $50,000. The bill also alters the description of the building to be purchased
with the loan proceeds.
House Bill 351, which was passed by the General Assembly and signed by me on May 14,
1996, accomplishes the same purpose. Therefore, it is not necessary for me to sign Senate
Bill 286.
Sincerely,
Parris N. Glendening
Governor
