PARRIS N. GLENDENING, Governor Ch. 495 (2) SHALL MAINTAIN RESIDENCY IN HOWARD COUNTY THROUGHOUT SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect Approved May 14, 1996. CHAPTER 495 AN ACT concerning Vehicle Laws — Combination of a Power Unit and a Travel Trailer - Length Limitations FOR the purpose of altering the maximum permissible length of a noncommercial vehicle BY repealing and reenacting, with- without amendments, BY adding to Article - Transportation Section 24-104.1(m) Annotated Code of Maryland (1992 Replacement Volume and 1995 Supplement) SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF Article - Transportation 11-170. (a) "Travel trailer" means a vehicle that: (1) Is mounted on wheels; (2) Is of such a size and weight as not to require any special highway (3) Is designed and constructed primarily to provide temporary living (4) Is no longer than 40 feet. - 2911 -
