Chapter 285 of the Acts of 1992, as amended by Chapter 224 of the Acts of 1994

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1992. [ It shall remain effective for a period of six years and, at the end of June 30,
1998, with no further action required by the General Assembly, this Act shall be
abrogated and of no further force and effect.]

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1996.

AN ACT concerning

Howard County - Board of Community College Trustees

Ho. Co. 16-96

FOR the purpose of establishing the number of members of the Board of Community
College Trustees for Howard County; requiring that a certain number of the
members shall be residents of Howard County at the time of appointment and
retain residency throughout the term of appointment; and generally relating to the
Board of Community College Trustees for Howard County.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

16-508.2.

(A)    THE BOARD OF COMMUNITY COLLEGE TRUSTEES FOR HOWARD COUNTY
CONSISTS OF SEVEN MEMBERS APPOINTED BY THE GOVERNOR WITH THE ADVICE
AND CONSENT OF THE SENATE.

(B)     OF THE MEMBERS, AT LEAST SIX:

(1) SHALL BE RESIDENTS OF HOWARD COUNTY AT THE TIME OF
APPOINTMENT; AND
