SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - State Personnel and Pensions

20-101.

(aa) "[Natural Resources] LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS' Pension System"
means the [Natural Resources] Law Enforcement Officers' Pension System of the State
of Maryland.

21-102.

The State Retirement and Pension System consists of:

(7) the [Natural Resources] LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS' Pension
System, established on July 2, 1990;

Title 26. [Natural Resources] LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS' Pension System.

26-101.

This title applies to the [Natural Resources] LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS'
Pension System.

26-102.

Except as otherwise provided in this title, the operation of the [ Natural Resources]
LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS' Pension System shall be the same as the operation of
the Employees' Pension System.

26-201.

This subtitle applies only to:

(1) an employee of the Department of Natural Resources commissioned by
the Secretary of Natural Resources as:
