1996 LAWS OF MARYLAND

(i) May brew in one location and may contract for the bottling of the
malt beverage in another location; and

(ii) Need not meet the hotel/motel requirements for a Class B beer.
wine and liquor licensee but shall meet the requirements for those Class B restaurants.

(d) (1) The on-sale privilege authorizes the holder to sell at retail beer brewed
under this license to customers for consumption on the licensed premises.

(2)     The off-sale privilege authorizes the holder to sell and deliver beer
brewed under this license to:

(i) Any wholesaler licensed under this article to sell beer in this State;
or

(ii) Any person who is located in a state other than Maryland who is
authorized under the laws of that state to receive brewed beverages.

(3)     In the City of Annapolis. Anne Arundel County. Baltimore City,
Baltimore County, Charles County, DORCHESTER COUNTY. Howard County, and Prince
George's County only, the holder may sell at retail beer brewed under this license to
customers for consumption off the licensed premises in refillable containers that are
sealed by the micro-brewery licensee at the time of each refill.

(a)     A Class A light wine license may be issued only in:

(1)     Baltimore County;

(2)     Carroll County;

(3)     DORCHESTER COUNTY;
[(3)] (4) Frederick County;
[(4)] (5) Harford County;

[(5)] (6) Montgomery County;
[(6)] (7) Talbot County; and
[(7)] (8) Washington County.

(b)     (1) The annual fee for this license is $50.

(2) In Montgomery County the annual license fee is $100.

(c)     A Class A light wine license may be issued by the license issuing authority of
the county in which the place of business is located to any holder of a Class 4
manufacturer's license.

(d)     (1) The license authorizes the holder to keep for sale and to sell light wines
produced at the winery in any quantity to any consumer at retail at the place described in
