(5)     1 member of the Senate from Harford County or a designee of the
member;

(6)     The Harford County, Executive or a designee of the County Executive;
and

(7)     The President of the Cecil County Board of Commissioners or a
designee of the President.

(b)     Each appointed member shall be knowledgeable in conservation, recreation,
and environmental concerns.

(c)     Before taking office, each appointee to the Board shall take the oath required
by Article I, § 9 of the Maryland Constitution.

(d)     (1) The term of an appointed member is 4 years.

(2)     The terms of the appointed members are staggered as required by the
terms provided for members of the Board on July 1, 1990.

(3)     At the end of a term, a member continues to serve until a successor is
appointed and qualifies.

(4)     A member who is appointed after a term has begun serves only for the
rest of the term and until a successor is appointed and qualifies.

(e)     The Governor may remove a member for incompetence or misconduct.]

(a)     From among its members, the Susquehanna River Watershed Advisory Board
shall select a chairman.

(b)     The manner of election of officers shall be as the Board determines.

(c)     The chairman may not serve more than one 2-year term.]
[8-1505.

(a)     A majority of the authorized membership of the Board is a quorum.

(b)     (1) The Board shall meet at least 4 times a year, at the times and places
determined by the chairman.

(2)     The chairman may schedule a meeting of the Board only at a public
facility in Harford or Cecil County.

(3)     The chairman shall give reasonable advance notice of a regular meeting
of the Board by publication in the Maryland Register.

(c)     A member of the Board:

(1)     May not receive compensation; but

(2)     Is entitled to reimbursement for expenses under the Standard State
Travel Regulations, as provided in the State budget.
