(7)     ON PREMISES ELECTRICIAN (PLANT ELECTRICIAN) WHO WORKS
ONLY ON THE PREMISES OF THE INDIVIDUAL'S EMPLOYER WHICH IS A
CORPORATION, FIRM, OR COMPANY NOT ENGAGED IN THE BUSINESS OF
ELECTRICAL WORK; OR

(8)     RESIDENTIAL ONE AND TWO FAMILY DWELLINGS.

[(c)] (E) All matters handled by the Board in connection with the issuance of
Restricted Electrician licenses shall be dealt with in the same way and under the same
rules and regulations and to the same extent as the Board uses in the issuance of Master
Electrician licenses.

IF ANY PROVISION OF THIS SUBTITLE IS DECLARED UNCONSTITUTIONAL OR
THE APPLICABILITY OF THIS SUBTITLE TO ANY PERSON OR CIRCUMSTANCES IS
HELD INVALID, THE CONSTITUTIONALITY OF THE REMAINDER OF THE SUBTITLE
AND THE APPLICABILITY OF THIS SUBTITLE TO OTHER PERSONS AND
CIRCUMSTANCES IS NOT AFFECTED.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1996.

AN ACT concerning

Medicare Supplement Policies

FOR the purpose of limiting the applicability of certain provisions of the Insurance Code
to Medicare supplement policies; requiring certain disclosures in certain policies;
requiring the disclosure of any automatic renewal premium increases based on age
in certain policies; repealing an exemption from disclosure for requirements for
basic, catastrophic, or major medical policies and single premium, nonrenewable
policies; amending certain definitions; and generally relating to the Maryland
Medicare Supplement Act and conforming that Act to certain federal requirements.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Article 48A - Insurance Code

Section 468B(b)(6), 468DA(a), 468E(e) and (g), and 468F(c)(4)
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1994 Replacement Volume and 1995 Supplement)
