Mental Hygiene prepares a report which:
(1) Contains the findings of the Task Force on Feasibility of
Future Consolidation of State Psychiatric Hospitals
identifying which of the following State psychiatric hospitals
may be closed: Crownsville Hospital Center, Springfield
Hospital Center, or Spring Grove Hospital Center;
(2) Identifies the level of funds to be expended at each
institution; and,
(3) Is submitted to the budget committees for review and
comment or the passage of 45 days from the receipt of the
report. THIS AUTHORIZATION SHALL NOT
TERMINATE BEFORE JUNE 1, 1998..................................

(A) Warfield "E" Building. Renovate portions of the Warfield "E"
Building for use as a Tuberculosis Isolation Unit............................
36.17.00 UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND MEDICAL SYSTEM
(Baltimore City)
(C) New Ambulatory Clinic. Provide a grant to the University of
Maryland Medical System to design and construct a replacement
ambulatory clinic. If the clinic is sited at the 600 block of W. Pratt
Street in Baltimore City, the State funds shall not exceed the lessor
of this appropriation or 30% of the capital cost of the facility. If
the clinic is sited at another location, no funds from this
appropriation shall be expended until the University of Maryland
Medical System reports on the proposed location, scope of work,
and project cost to the Department of Budget and Fiscal Planning
and the budget committees. The budget committees shall have 45
days for review and comment............................................................
39.01.04 WATER MANAGEMENT ADMINISTRATION

(A) Chesapeake Bay Water Quality Project Funds. [Provide]
EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN 39.01.04(A)(4) BELOW,
PROVIDE funds to be credited to the Water Pollution Control
Fund to be used for projects to improve the water quality of the
Chesapeake Bay and other waters of the State. The funds
appropriated shall be administered for the purposes listed below in
accordance with Sections 9-345 through 9-351 of the Environment
Article:
(4) To provide not more than $4,600,000 in grants for projects to
