23.01.03 MARYLAND STADIUM AUTHORITY
(A) Prince George's County Sports Facility. Prepare preliminary plans
and specifications for the renovation of the USAir Arena or plans
and specifications for a new sports facility within the vicinity of the
existing facility, subject to the requirement that the County
Executive and County Council of Prince George's County provide
an equal and matching fund for the purpose of undertaking
feasibility, economic, and financing studies related to this project,
subject to the provisions of Section 1(5) of this Act. The Maryland
Stadium Authority may expend this appropriation and the
matching fund: enter into contracts; engage consultants; make
recommendations; and take other actions related to the studies of
the renovation of the USAir Arena or a replacement facility. This
appropriation shall not be construed as a State commitment to
design or construct a new arena or to renovate the existing arena

32.12.00 MENTAL HYGIENE ADMINISTRATION
(A) Central Kitchen Contingency Fund. Prepare detailed plans for the
renovation of two central kitchens at either Crownsville,
Springfield, or Spring Grove Hospital Centers, provided that no
funds may be expended until the Department of Health and
Chapter 115 of the Acts of 1994
PROVIDED THAT ANY PART OF THIS
APPROPRIATION NOT ENCUMBERED FOR THE
PURPOSES IDENTIFIED AS OF JUNE 30, 1996 SHALL
BE TRANSFERRED TO, AND ADMINISTERED BY,
THE DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE FOR GRANTS
FOR PROJECTS TO CONTROL AGRICULTURALLY
RELATED NONPOINT SOURCES OF POLLUTION
UNDER TITLE 8, SUBTITLE 7 OF THE AGRICULTURE

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That:
(1) The Board of Public Works may borrow money and incur indebtedness on
behalf of the State of Maryland through a State loan to be known as the Maryland
Consolidated Capital Bond Loan of 1994 in the total principal amount of [$344,473,068]
$343,032,396. This loan shall be evidenced by the issuance, sale, and delivery of State
general obligation bonds authorized by a resolution of the Board of Public Works and
issued, sold, and delivered in accordance with §§ 8-117 through 8-124 of the State
Finance and Procurement Article and Article 31, § 22 of the Code.
