and City Council of Baltimore City to assist in constructing and
equipping the Maryland State Welcome Center to be located at the
Inner Harbor, provided that all services provided to visitors
through this center be closely coordinated with the information
and visitor services located in the expanded Baltimore City
Convention Center. It is the intent of the General Assembly that
comprehensive statewide visitor information be delivered to
convention delegates and other tourists at both facilities

(A)    Abate asbestos in various State facilities (Statewide)......................

(B)    Underground Storage Tank Replacement. Remove, replace, or
upgrade State-owned underground storage tanks containing motor
fuels (Statewide).................................................................................

39.01.04                 WATER MANAGEMENT ADMINISTRATION

(Statewide)

(A)    Chesapeake Bay Water Quality Project Funds. Provide funds to be
credited to the Water Pollution Control Fund to be used for
projects to improve the water quality of the Chesapeake Bay and
other waters of the State. These funds shall be administered for
the purposes listed below in accordance with Sections 9-345
through 9-351 of the Environment Article:

(1)    To provide not more than $10,055,000 in grants for projects
to remove nutrients at publicly owned sewage treatment
works;

(2)    To provide not more than $2,000,000 in grants to provide
assistance to grant and loan recipients to meet the local share
of construction costs;

(3)    To provide not more than $829,000 $1,354,000 in grants for
water quality cleanup activities in small creeks and estuaries;
and

(4)    To provide not more than $1,250,000 $1,513,000 in grants for
nonpoint source pollution control.............................................

(B)    Water Supply Assistance Funds. Provide funds for assistance to
State and local government entities to acquire, design, construct,
rehabilitate, equip, and improve water supply facilities. These
funds shall be administered in accordance with Chapter 306 of the
Acts of 1982 and in accordance with the Code of Maryland
Regulations (COMAR) 26.03.09.......................................................
