PARRIS N. GLENDENING, Governor Ch. 54 SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect Approved April 9, 1996. CHAPTER 54 AN ACT concerning State Board of Certified Interior Designers - Certification FOR the purpose of altering the eligibility requirements BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments, Article - Business Occupations and Professions Section 8-302 and 8-309 Annotated Code of Maryland (1995 Replacement Volume and 1995 Supplement) SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF Article - Business Occupations and Professions 8-302. (a) To qualify for a certificate, an applicant shall be an individual who meets the (b) The applicant shall be of good character and reputation. (c) The applicant shall be at least 18 years old. [ (d) The applicant shall: (1) have completed a 4-year course of study in interior design at and be (i) is approved by the Board; and (ii) holds accredited status from the Foundation for Interior Design - 1103 -
