Ch. 19 1996 LAWS OF MARYLAND Article - Family Law Section 5-561 through 5-568 Annotated Code of Maryland (1991 Replacement Volume and 1995 Supplement) SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF Article - Family Law 5-560. (a) In this Part VI of this subtitle, the following words have the meanings (b) "Conviction" means a plea or verdict of guilty or a plea of nolo contendere.
