2. unless the corporation's stock is publicly traded, the
percentage of equity interest held.
(ii) As to an equity interest in a partnership, limited liability
partnership, or limited liability company, the individual may satisfy paragraph (2)(ii) of
this subsection by reporting, instead of a dollar amount, the percentage of equity interest
held.
(4) IF AN INTEREST ACQUIRED DURING THE APPLICABLE REPORTING
PERIOD CONSISTS OF ADDITIONS TO EXISTING PUBLICLY TRADED CORPORATE
INTERESTS ACQUIRED BY DIVIDEND OR DIVIDEND REINVESTMENT, AND THE
TOTAL VALUE OF THE ACQUISITION IS LESS THAN $500, ONLY THE MANNER OF
ACQUISITION IS REQUIRED TO BE DISCLOSED UNDER PARAGRAPH (2)(III) OF THIS
SUBSECTION.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
January 1, 1997.

AN ACT concerning
Criminal History Records Checks - Child Care in Various Settings
FOR the purpose of including a disposition of probation before judgment or not
criminally responsible in the certain criminal history records check reports that are
required for child care certain employers and employees of certain facilities and
programs and certain individuals seeking to adopt and volunteers; requiring the
Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services to update certain criminal
history records checks and to issue certain printed statements; requiring the
Department to adopt regulations requiring the submission of certain information by
State and local agencies who license, register, approve, or certify certain child care
facilities or programs or place children in certain homes certain persons and
agencies to verify periodically certain information; authorizing the Department to
provide a criminal history printed statement to additional employers under certain
conditions; making certain technical and stylistic changes; and generally relating to
criminal history records checks.
