Ch. 14 1996 LAWS OF MARYLAND relating to the waiver of examination requirements by the State Board of Physician BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments, Annotated Code of Maryland SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF Article - Health Occupations 14-311. (a) Subject to the provisions of this section, the Board shall waive the examination (1) Attains on the federation licensing examination or the United States' (2) Holds a certificate of proficiency and professional standing of: (ii) The board of medical examiners of another state; [ or] (iii) The National Board of Examiners for Osteopathic Physicians and (IV) THE LICENTIATE OF THE MEDICAL COUNCIL OF CANADA. (b) The Board may grant a waiver under this section only if: (1) The applicant pays the application fee required by the Board under § (2) The applicant provides adequate evidence that the applicant meets the SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act is an emergency Approved April 9, 1996. - 1002 -
