Firemen's Association. The payments [may] SHALL be made to those individuals who
have met the adopted plan requirements as approved by the County Commissioners. The
service award payments may be made monthly by the County directly to eligible
recipients.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1995.

AN ACT concerning

Carroll County - Employees - Criminal Record Checks

FOR the purpose of adding certain current or prospective employees of Carroll County
for whom the County Commissioners of Carroll County may request the Criminal
Justice Information System - Central Repository of the Department of Public
Safety and Correctional Services to conduct criminal record checks; requiring an
individual who is the subject of a criminal record check that requires information to
be obtained from the Federal Bureau of Investigation to submit a complete, and
legible set of fingerprints to the Department of Public Safety and Correctional
Services; making certain provisions of this Act not applicable to certain volunteers;
and generally relating to criminal record checks requested by the County
Commissioners of Carroll County.
